Una MacGlone is head of MA Creative Arts Practice at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She has research interests in improvisation, pedagogy and social and wellbeing effects of creative music-making. From 2021-24, she held a British Academy Fellowship which investigated processes of inclusion in and wellbeing impacts from community music workshops with children and young people with disabilities. She is a double bassist performing across genres and has played on over 20 commercially released recordings.
